This is a waterfall that lies just below the village of Alte and arises from the flow of the Ribeira and the morphology of the valleys and slopes of that area. It measures about 10 meters high and 2 meters wide. It is a place of somewhat difficult access, due to its slope.

Water springs (Olho de Boi) that, for centuries, were a meeting place for women of the village to fill their pitchers of water and wash their clothes, today are a pleasant place to rest and picnic. These are water springs located in a small valley near the village of Alte. On the banks of the stream are restaurants, cafes, picnic and bathing areas (the reservoir is a natural pool). The waters from Fonte Grande and Fonte Pequena, which give rise to the Ribeira de Alte, have already moved the village's nine windmills.
